Trades vs. Cash

We offer in most cases 30% cash or 50% trade of our determined retail value of the lot. “Retail Value” is the total of all of the price clips.

In some rare cases, if there are a lot of items that we could use and the person is insisting to sell the lot as a “whole” we may make an offer based on the lot rather than by piece. In this situation you would want to rope in a manager or the owner to help determine the offer.

At this time we cannot split an offer into both partial cash and partial trade. If the customer insists, you must clearly void any paperwork created and divide the receipts into two clearly marked transactions.

If a customer has a large volume of Green Light (most likely Black Label) items and the purchase exceeds the buying limit for a transaction, partner with a manager or the owner. We might want to offer them payment through another method so we do not deplete the buying fund for the rest of the shift.
