Resellers:

When a customer is a known reseller. Someone who has a business selling vintage clothing.

There are a few steps we can take to best service these customers and maintain an ongoing relationship with them.

Create a customer profile for them in NCR. 

Add information in notes:

Business name 

IG handle, website or physical address of shop

Tax ID number (if available)

If the customer has a Tax ID number we can remove sales tax from their purchase in addition to volume discounts. (information must be on file to receive discount). They must have a completed Sales Tax Exempt form on file with us. We should have preprinted forms available in shop for easy access.

Not all resellers have a tax ID number, these individuals will still need above info documented in notes to qualify for volume discounts. (Note: Foreign resellers are not eligible for tax exempt status without Tax ID)

Volume discounts:

If buying 5 or more items and is a documented reseller (or costumer/stylist see below):

White label items 20% off (line item)

Black Label items 10% off (line item)

If there are any additional agreements with an individual we must document them in customer notes. 

Customer needs to mention they are a reseller in order for cashier to look up info to see what discounts they receive.

Professional Volume Discounts: Movie, TV, Theatre Costumers, Stylists

These individuals are not tax exempt because items are not being resold.

They are eligible for the above Volume Discounts if they have documented information.

Please note the following in the Customer Profile Notes:

Customer name must match ID (cashier must check)

Company name

Phone number or email

IG handle or website
